Over my time at Dartmouth, Chabad has gone beyond simply enriching my pride and knowledge of Judaism. Chabad has become our second home, where Jewish students of all backgrounds can always feel comfortable and connected with Judaism.
Gabi is a '12 from Sarasota, Florida, and is pursuing a double major in
Government and Middle Eastern Studies. At Dartmouth, Gabi founded Dartmouth
Students for Israel, a group aimed at educating students about Middle
Eastern politics and culture--focusing on Israel and the peace process. She
is also President of Membership Recruitment for Alpha Phi Sorority, and is
now President of Chabad at Dartmouth.
Sarah is a '12 at Dartmouth and has been on the board of Chabad since her
freshman year. She is pursuing a double major in Engineering Sciences and Studio
Art, and plans to spend a fifth year at Dartmouth in the Thayer graduate engineering
program. When she's not studying, she's usually outside, running, swimming, or
adventuring in the White Mountains. She has spent her off-terms in Argentina,
Colorado, and Wyoming, and looks forward to continue to explore the world.
Benji is a '13 from Albany CA (right near Berkeley). He is an evolutionary biology major and an aspiring standup comedian. In his spare time he likes to go hiking, cook Thai food and practice the pan flute.
Julie is a '14 from New York and is planning to major in Engineering Sciences modified with Neuroscience. This year, Julie became a member of the Sinai Scholars Society. She also did research in a lab at DHMC as part of the Women in Science Project and she is the Fundraising Director of MEDLIFE at Dartmouth. Julie looks forward to continuing her involvement in Chabad as a member of the board.
